Mississauga, Ontario - The Southdowns are ready to bring the house down with Night of Our Lives.
The Southdowns, Mississauga’s own Marty-Awards Nominated roots rock band, have digitally released a new five-song EP, entitled Night of our Lives on Friday January 31st, 2019. This album was produced by hit songwriter and five-time Juno nominated artist, Mladen Alexander. This EP features new material, including the title track “Night of Our Lives” and “Be With You”, in addition to all new renditions of hit songs “Outrageous”, “Continental” and Already Done” which are certain to win over lovers of rock and blues, fans and new audiences alike. Physical CD release party to follow shortly thereafter.
Under a backdrop of strong roots rock, coupled with a southern flavor, The Southdowns infect the ear with a distinct blend of rock and roll, country, and southern rock. Having performed at a number of local Toronto venues and higher profiles shows in 2018-2019, with the release of this EP they are poised to take their show to the next level, and take to the airwaves. Their music is unique, yet immediately recognizable and boasts radio friendly melodies; their live shows continue to turn heads wherever they play.
Audio CDs will be available at shows in 2020, and digital album will be available on most preferred streaming platforms.
