We hope you enjoy; this song holds a special place in our hearts being the first song written by Jeff and Joe back in 2010!
Joe recounts:
“It was a transitional time for me, I recently moved into a new place off Southdown Rd, meeting new people (Jeff included!) and we had set up one of our 1st jams. I had this piece I’d been working that I couldn’t get out of my head so I took him through what I had. Within a couple of hours, the song had taken shape into the current version; our 1st song written as a team. During that session, we modified the lyrics, tweaked the melody and since then the vibe and structure have remained pretty much the same as when it was originally written. Today, almost 10 years later, that song still holds a special place for me and it’s never sounded better.”
When The Southdowns were formed in 2016, Night Times Never Ending was an ideal fit for their distinct style of bluesy-inspired roots rock.
